5 AWESOME AUSTIN ADVENTURES
Most all Austinities know that places like Zilker Park and Barton Springs are perfect places to spend a wonderful afternoon with the kids. But there are many slightly lesser known places that are also a fabulous and fun way to spend quality time with your little cuties. Little Roseberry is here to share five of our current favorites in and around the Austin area. Enjoy!
1. The Thinkery

An interactive museum for the kids that allows them to be creative, have fun and use their noggin. The Thinkery boasts everything from a Lite Brite peg board to water drums to splash stations and so much more. Our vote for number one museum in the Austin area. (Added bonus—they have adult nights aka Thinkery21 that are perfect for date or girl night’s out!)
2. Dinosaur Park

Slightly outside of Austin in Cedar Creek, this museum offers outdoor life size dinosaurs ranging from two feet long to 85 feet long. The park also offers nature trails with plants, trees and rocks, making this both a fun and educational place to spend a day with the kids.
3. Kiddie Acres

An oldie but a goodie, childhood memories have been made here since 1979. Located on ten acres of land, Kiddie Acres has a variety of children’s rides, mini golf and plenty of food. Perfect for little ones ten years and younger!
4. JumpStreet Trampoline Park

You may have just as much fun as your kiddo at this one. A giant trampoline land offering everything from trampoline dodgeball to giant foam pit to a mechanical bull (Ahem- Throwback to your younger days on 6th street, but safer), this place is perfect for birthday parties or for a fun afternoon with the fam.
5. Safari Champ

A hidden gem in Round Rock, this one boasts a big play area for the kiddos and a tasty cup of coffee for you. Ideal for getting work done on your computer or just relaxing while the kids play the day away.
We can’t wait to hear about your grand adventures with your little adventurers!
