Five Can't Miss Holiday Events in the ATX

Five Can't Miss Holiday Events in the ATX

This season is packed full of holiday events in the Austin area, and it can be pretty overwhelming trying to decide which ones to go or not go to. The Little Roseberry team decided to make it easier on you and pick the events that sounded like the best of the best this December. Enjoy, friends!
Winter Wonderland at COTA
For the first year ever, Christmas is taking over Circuit of the Americas. From camel rides to human snowglobes to hot air balloon rides and a skating rink, this is a holiday event like nothing you've ever seen before. Millions of lights bring to life a world that is enchanting in all of its festive joy. Tickets are sixteen dollars a person but FREE for children five years and younger. Open to the public 12/8 - 12/30, Sunday - Thursday from 6-10 pm and Friday and Saturday 6-11 pm. Get in 30 minutes early on December 9th by bringing toys, non-perishable foods or non-liquid cleaning supplies! Donations go to the Coca-Cola Harvey Relief Care Package and donation containers will be located at entry gates.
Address: 9201 Circuit of The Americas Boulevard, Austin, Texas, 78617
Elgin Christmas Tree Farm
Slightly outside of Austin is the Elgin Christmas Tree farm. Ride a tractor to pick out your perfect Christmas tree, cut it down with your borrowed ax and take it home as a new part of the family (for a month or so, anyway)! Visit with farm animals and pick out your perfect ornament at their adorable gift shop while you're there too! Hours are 10-5:30 until December 18th!
Address: 120 Natures Way, Elgin, Texas, 78621
Christmas Dreams and Snowy Things
This FREE Round Rock event offers interactive holiday booths, train rides, an appearance by Santa Claus himself, SNOW and so much more! This one is Saturday December 9th from 10-4 pm!
Address: 107 E. Bowman Road, Round Rock, TX, 78664
Mozart's Light Show
This famous light show at Mozart's Coffee Roasters on Lake Austin gives a musical light show extravaganza like no other. Thousands upon thousands of lights provde an enchanting experience that must be seen to be believed. Don't leave without trying the hot cocoa. This event runs until January 1st from 6 to about 11pm.

Address: 3825 Lake Austin Boulevard

Blue Genie Art Bazaar
The Blue Genie Art Bazaar is a kid-friendly and one-of-a-kind holiday shopping experience. The Bazaar features the art of more than 200 artists, making for a unique and expansive way to Christmas shop. It's easy to find something for everyone on your list at Blue Genie, and you can even sip on a cocktail from their bar while you look around! The hardest part will be not buying something for yourself. But we think you deserve a little treat anyway. Open from 10 am to 10 pm until the 23rd, and 10 am to 6 pm on Christmas Eve!
Address: 6100 Airport Boulevard
Honorable Mention goes to the Trail of Lights, only because most everyone already knows how awesome it is. But we definitely encourage you to go and bring family and friends too!
Have any other must-visits to suggest to us this holiday season? Comment and let us know! Happy festivities, friends!
